| Medical Plan Costs – What ‘They’ (Still) Won’t Tell You (and who ‘they’ are)!
Lynda Smith will discuss the current state of medical transparency, reveal who is marketing to your employees or your client’s employees, and show you how to build your business and increase employee and client satisfaction by instilling marketing and knowledge as keystones of successful medical benefit programs. You will benefit from understanding where employees are buying healthcare and how to use that information to control medical plan expenses.
The course is approved for 1 CE credit with the FL Dept of Financial Services, Agency Licensing and Compliance for CE credit for agents holding life, health, and variable annuity related licenses (course number 948165). The course attendee roster will be submitted to Florida Association of Health Underwriters who submits it to the State of Florida to apply credit to attendees licenses. There will be a $5 per attendee fee payable at the program for anyone wanting to receive CE credit (either cash or check payable to FAHU).
Lynda K. Smith
Lynda Smith is a business consultant with Delphi of Florida, a healthcare company specializing in the development of "self-directed" tools that educate and assist clients and consumers with their medical alternatives in the healthcare insurance industry. Lynda has over 15 years of experience within the health insurance industry, encompassing managed care operations, provider networks, carrier experience and both fully and self-insured plan design. She holds a Masters in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida and has presented her research and experience to various groups of health benefit stakeholders.
